If there's no competition at the weight i think it's fine to want a fighter to move up for a challenge. That's not the case with these fighters.

Kell Brook is too big for 147, so he should move up.

But Porter & Thurman haven't cleaned out the division and they haven't out grown it, so what's the problem?

Porter and Thurman weigh more than Brook on fight night at WW. They'll find it hard making weight just like Brook.

Thurman and Porter will be severely disadvantaged against guys like Andrade, Charlo brothers, who are six-footers. Five inches difference. Why would anyone want to see circuses?

Boxing is weight divisions not height.

                Riight.

Williams is 5'11", yet the size difference was crystal clear not only in height, but weight at fight night. Charlo's power was bone-crunching. Thurman and Porter are on only 5'7".

I know it's based on weight. It's up to them if they want to. No problem here.

Exactly, Jermell Charlo looked like a 168 pounder against J-Rock. Dude looked bigger than GGG

Hell, ****ing Willie Nelson is 6'3". That's just crazy.

Look at their frames, they're small dudes. They're not 154 pounders in size. Kell Brook is a huge dude in comparison, frame wise. He actually weighed more than GGG when they fought.

I don't agree. Every pro boxer in the world has a right to decide for themselves what weight they will fight at as long as they continue to make the contracted weight. Fans don't get to demand that any particular boxer must move up to a higher weight class no matter how bad they want him to move up. It's not their decision to make.

Good shorter boxers often beat good taller boxers. Tyson was 5 foot 11 inches, Marciano was 5 foot 10 inches, and Qawi was 5 foot 7 inches. They all beat many good boxers much taller than themselves.
