      Yup and yup.

Wlad is basically cashing out on his last big pay day and then he's riding off into the sunset.

I think everyone needs to realise what a difficult task it was to face tyson fury on that night.
The man's quick handed, tall, rangey and does "not present a stationary target"

Klitschko may have aged, but I wouldn't rule him out of this fight.
Joshua is strong and has quick hands.
But he is flat footed and stationary
          It's a completely different fight
          He is still very raw

Majority base their picks on the last fight of each fighter. Remember klitschko can fight, he was perplexed by the style of fury. This fight is entirely different
I wouldn't base it off the fury fight

To make it out like he's just shot and has no chance is nonsense

Exactly man. Just think about this. Klitschko and Wilder have the most freakish reaches at heavyweight, right?

            Vladimir Klitschko reach: 81 inches

            Deontay Wilder reach: 83 inches

            Right???

Tyson Fury reach: 85 fookin' inches

Tyson Fury had a 4 fookin' inch reach advantage, and height advantage, over a boxer whose entire style is built around having a reach advantage.

Tyson Fury would have had a 7 fookin inch reach advantage over Muhammad Ali, just to show what a freak Fury is. And it's not just the eras because in other weight classes, top fighters of the past, better era usually had bigger reaches than current fighters. For example Floyd dominated a bunch of 69 inch reach guys with his 72 inch reach, and his style was based around it, but SRL actually had 74 inch, Tommy Hearns had an 80 inch reach, which is why calling Floyd TBE is so funny. I'd love to see Floyd fight a guy with speed, an 8 inch reach advantage, and way more power than him in Hearns, or SRL who did everything Floyd did and more with a longer reach and more power.

Anyway, the bad news for Vlad is that Joshua has an 82 inch reach. So Vlad will once again have a reach disadvantage. The question will simply be if he can overcome a 1 inch reach disadvantage better than he could 4 inches.

My thoughts exactly. If this was a few years ago, many would probably say Joshua's style is tailor made for Wlad. The truth is, it still is.

People are putting too much stock in the Fury loss. My belief is that Fury would have given Wlad hard night at any stage of his career, win or lose. He's just an awful style for Wlad and that's just how it is sometimes. And whether you like Fury or not, he's a pretty smart fighter in the ring with a good IQ and movement for such a big man. They are things we've never had to see from Joshua.

Of course there's an almost 18 month lay off now and he's in his 40's, that factor cannot be ignored but he's a good athlete, never really taken a lot of punishment in the last decade and has a fairly economical style anyway that doesn't require him to have cat like reflexes.

I actually feel if Wlad gets into his rhythm and Joshua has no way to offset that jab like Fury did, then Wlad might put his lights out once he's comfortable enough to start bringing the right hand into play.
