Spence isn't complaining about the split so I don't know why other people are even bringing it up. He knows the split of the purse bid and when it was announced a bid would take place all he talked about was getting his shot, nothing about the money. In every interview Hearn is the one bringing up the split. And Spence has already said he's willing to travel which I think is fair. Spence isn't big enough name to make the champion travel like Canelo made Smith travel.

I know he doesn't really care about the money part, he obviously wants his chance and that's about it. The sad bit is Hearn would talk and talk about money, to make it look like Spence or his team are dragging it out. I don't really believe a word out of Hearn mouth anyways.

The point of my post is he's been fighting for 13 years now. A title holder. Only has one loss. If he retired today he won't be inducted into the HOF. Pitiful

If Kell is your favorite fighter that's cool. But you always trying to make it seem like he's actually accomplished a lot in his career. He hasn't. As talented as he is his career has been abysmal.

Brook accepted $200K in the Porter fight, which Hearn could easily afford if that's the basis for Spence's purse. I don't think Brook's camp would be the one that would quibble about money. They control the percentage split, not Haymon. It's Hearn who would cut the cake this time.

Hearn can cut which ever cake he wants, his biggest problem is Brook not the other side, Brook would want his £2m to fight spence, spence would probably fight Brook for peanuts just to get his shot like Brook did against Porter. Now finding the money to pay Brook is Hearn major issue, especially if the purse bid actually happens.
