Lupe Pintor used to be hard on Alvarez, said he was a hype job. Pintor focused so much on the Alvarez loss to Mayweather that he decided to go against him. This is the same Pintor that despised Chavez Jr. too post 2013. Pintor is a man of dedication to the craft and expects all heart wars like a Marquez. He just thought that Alvarez was a ***** against Mayweather. lol He literally thought that.

However, without a doubt, Alvarez has only improved in ring IQ. Ironically as we all say, and obviously Pintor NOW thinks so, but Alvarez's loss to Floyd really upped his game.

Canelo has schooled Chavez in sparring, faced and beaten better fighters. He is easily the better fighter. Unfortunately weight will be an issue here. If Saul can use his better skills and survive the firstc5 rounds he should cost against a weight drained fighter dehydrating to look more comfortable. If he decides to trade than Chavez may be able to impose himself. I expect Canelo to keep his distance and give up 4 of the fist 6 rounds. After that he will impose his better skills and walk away with a comfortable decision.

Think Canelo could drop Chavez? Maybe from a body shot?

One shot? Probably no. I do think he is the better fighter and will have better stamina though. Chavez will come in big like he always does and try to get Alverez out early. When it doesn't work Can slow skills will take over and coast to an easy decision of late stoppage. I'm leaning towards decisionsl, but it depends how much Chavez has drained himself for this payday. Either way, Alverz is the better fighter and I hope he wins and make the GGG fight this year.

Still remember this fight was to be made if not mistaken back in 2010. After all these years at last. And obviously after they saw that Julio Jr is no longer a threat.

I would not be surprised if Jr lands big shots on Nelo. Both styles mix well together and should make for an entertaining fight. Not the fight people wanted, but when big money is on the table no fighter is going to pass up on it

What the f**k does that have to do with Lupe's opinion on who wins this fight ? Both fighters will enter the ring at 195 lbs and it will be a war of attrition. With that being said, Canelo will win the fight. Ginger doesn't fight anyone who poses a real threat to him since his loss to Mayweather.
