That's actually the lowest HBO main event rating that I could think of. I don't remember any other main even being less than 500k. I think the lowest before was Rigo vs Agbeko @ 550k.

Definitely. As that's an HBO average for non-star names - and as Espinoza pointed out - the FACT that Showtime has 9 million viewers less than HBO that's a HUGE HUGE point that star power means everything.

I said Vargas was all hype before the Berchelt fight even took place. Plus Vargas caught on PEDs, how does that compete with LSC, Frampton, Mikey, or Zlaticanin's fame with PEDs?

No only that, BWAA gave Salido vs Vargas FOTY even after the fact with the PED incident. That's corrupt politics at its best and HBO affiliates & friends being *******s to this sport.
