Santa Cruz and Frampton are just not very good fighters

Fighting in straight lines, backing up in straight lines for 12 rounds. Amateurs no longer fight in straight lines but these guys would go forward and backward the length of the damn ring.

Frampton will pivot occasionally to his left and step to his right when there is no action but when he has to attack or defend it's back to straight lines. Same for Santa Cruz.

I think Oscar Valdez with his flaws smokes them, so does Garry Russell.

Frampton IS a good fighter, but he definitely did himself no favors last night.

First fight with leo, you could see the discipline, the sharp crisp punches, and technical ability.

Last night he didnt show any of that...Both guy's looked very very sloppy and neither looked like they were an elite champion.

Not to mention Rigo could fight both of them at the same time and win.

I think they are both good fighters. I actually thought the first fight was done with higher skill levels. It was more action packed but they both showed good technical skills on the inside and outside.

I thought last nights fight was very good but not as exciting. Another close fight but the right decision, but i thought the skill level had dropped a bit from both. Santa Cruz fought a bit smarter but i don't feel he had to do anything that skilful to pull out the win. I also feel that Frampton doesn't really respect Leo's power and that worked against him because he was chasing the fight more. If he felt he needed more cautious then he might stick to his skills rather than trying to push forward more.

I don't think there's much to split the guys really. Both good fighters and if they fought again, it's just going to be a case of who has the better game plan and can stick with it and that was LSC last night.

It wasn't Avery good fight... even the first. I don't understand why people jizz over these sort of fights. They both lacked extreme amounts of skill. GRJ and Loma would have field day with both these cats.

I agree and not to mention that both eat too many damn punches also.
