hes gonna be fighting nothing but journeyman for at least a year before he steps it up, he has said so himself and from what i hear he was pretty rusty against bellamy.

just as an interesting sidenote, bellamy is now scheduled to fight rid**** bowe which makes it two fights in row he is fighting someone of questionable health, for i bet the two biggest paydays of his career.

I'm glad to see Baby Joe back but at what costs. I don't want to see anybody die in the ring, or even from a fight. But if the doctors cleared him, who are we to point a finger at a man from living out his dream. I just hope the doctors and Joe Mesi know what they are doing. Has Nevada cleared him to fight?

I wasn't. Peter would kill Mesi. I'm sure Peter will take the fight but if Mesi wants to stay alive he will not be anywhere near Peter.

mesi should retire and become a trainer, I just don't want to see Boxing defaced again with another ring death,....

I'll be DAMN. He wants it? He'll get it.

I wish him the best of luck.

I wouldnt joke around about any fighter with the history of Mesi's problems getting killed in the ring. That's just not funny. I worry it will happen, and it'll be a case of all those critics of his return being right on the money.

that would be a disaster for mesi. he doesnt take a punch well and isnt good defensively. peter would run him over even with his long clubbing punches

If he wants to go out like that, its his choise.
But I would not want him to get hurt like that.
