He said on Sky Sports he believes it will happen.

There did seem to be more too it than speculation on Floyd's part, especially when you consider McGregor's recent comments about UFC.

It sounds to me that Mayweather's team have probably made an offer to Conor, or a ballpark figure that can turn his head away from UFC and he's willing to do it without their say so.

Floyd seemed pretty definite about it, which is a first for Floyd, he's usually extremely vague in interviews about who he will fight or if he'll return.

I doubt the fight will ever happen. If they fight by boxing rules Mayweather should be a million to one betting favorite. Conor is a great fist fighter by MMA standards but not by pro boxing standards.

Floyd just looking for an easy $100 million payday and that what he get fighting McGregor can't say i don't blame him. Real boxing fans want to see him fighting Canelo, Thuman, or Spence. Just because Conor knocking out guys in the ufc who cannot box. Doesn't mean he can beat any high level boxer.
