Well, boxing also survived the dreadful Muhammad Ali vs Antonio Inoki affair back in the Seventies, but that was in the Golden age when Boxing was a mainstream sport and had a lot of credit with the mainstream sports fan...

Yes, Mcgregor is a funny guy.

But "give the fans what they want"? Really??

Who actually wants this fight? UFC (and Pacquaio!) fans would want it UFC rules to see Mayweather brutalised, whilst real boxing fans won't be interested as they know what Mayweather will do and it will prove nothing . . . .
