    come on now

I am so tired of people giving brook all this fearless credit for essentially fighting a fight he never had a chance at. It is not that complicated... He was either going to get beat at welterweight by spence and lose his title for less money, or fight golovkin, get money, keep credibility and keep his title.

Khan did the same exact thing with Canelo... either get knocked out by keith thurman or shawn porter at his natural weight for less money and be considered glass jaw, or jump up a fight the biggest money fighter, get a big check, keep credibility for losing to a bigger fighter. It's the most see-thru plan on earth.

Nobody including brook, thought he had a chance against Golovkin at two weight classes above the norm. He does not want to get a second loss so he chasing Khan because that is the easiest winnable money fight. If Brook goes up to 154 and fights a nobody, people will call him a duck. He fights Andrade, Charlo, Williams, or Lara, and he is easily defeated. He is going to vacate the title, because he is done if he loses back to back, especially against a contender.

But Khan doesn't want to know unless its enough to take into retirement as i'm sure Khan knows it could be his last hurrah nothing wrong with that. Brooks timing many think is all wrong for Amir and i'm sure Amir knows this too.

Therefore it's time to move on and unfortunately Brook has got a very dangerous fighter chasing him and his dream and no PPv star either.Moving up doesn't bring that many stars either although some decent talent.I can't argue with the critics who say if he is prepered to fight Khan at welter then he should be prepered to face Spence there too....lets see.
If Brook is the draw that he tells Khan that he is, He should make more for fighting Spence Jr. than the $2 million Khan is offering. However, if he can't make more than that fighting Spence Jr., he might as well accept Khan's offer!

And my position says that I'll fight anybody in the top three, top two, the number one guy. That's what my money commands, that's my status, that's what I command. I'm not avoiding him," Porter said.....I think he knows Errol's potential; and saying all that he thinks that some of us are avoiding him. I'm not. Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman are getting in the ring to fight. That's number one and number two, they are not avoiding him."

And this is why we keep yelling for Kell to either fight or give up the belt. He's holding up progress. We know Porter will fight anybody. But there's no point for him to fight Spence if he doesn't have a belt. Porter has already been champion. He's looking for a big money fight or the belt. Unlike Brook, Porter has earned that.

Looks like brook is in a not so good position to duck spence . All the sharps are out in the upper weight class. I see why the con man is in a better position to ask 70-30. If Brook waits long the con artist the drop offer to 25-75. Sink or swim with the sharks, or go for the con mans $$ offer.

Brook is not ducking Spence after brutal fight with ggg and trouble making 147 he wants big $ fights to struggle to 147 khan is the fight but they want to pimp him out at 30% him being the champ and their surprised his father stepped in. Spence is all risk little reward great fighter but not big $ in U.K. Not well known yet after fighting ggg baddest man around you think he's afraid he will fight PAC Thurman Garcia winner or move up to jm

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that Khan is "right" to be asking for 70%. While Brook has to decide if he wants to swim with "sharks" for little money, Khan has to decide if he wants his retirement money now because there might not be another opportunity where he has "leverage" (sort of anyways) to cash in.

In his mind Khan has a problem with Brook , inside he knows Brook is his nemesis and finds this difficult as he knows that Brook will wipe him out. This for Khan will hurt as Brook came through later than Khan and was considered to be like an understudy type role .Not in the spotlight as Khan once was(for the right reasons!)
They are both at a career junction khan losers to Brook takes the money nowhere else to go other than to fight better tougher fighters which Khan doesn't like to do.
Brook doesn't get the Khan payday then he has to fight a dangerous no named fighter that's only known in boxing circles in his own country or move up to fight in a solid but far less glamorous division .......It's a fight that should be 50-50 £ as Khan can still stretch his faded name for this and Kell is world champion ...period .

I hope they fight, sign now but straight away decare the title vacant as this is one fight that stands on it's own with these two together.Spence has waited long enough let him get on with his career and fight IBF top contenders Horn or Berto!

Brook has potentially more money fights at 147 than at 154, but he has to get rid of spence first, Brook loves his money so he couldn't and shouldn't drop his belt at 147 to move up. At 154 he doesn't have any money fight there unless Canelo and Cotto comes calling.
