He should get a rematch but i don't how Loeffler operates. Heard there is no rematch clause, really baffling.
Where Does Golovkin Go If He Loses To Jacobs?

160 is the perfect operating window for Golovkin and his attributes! for the type of fighter he is, the more he moves up in weight there is a chance he will be less effective (Because his main assets are punching power, and his straight forward offensive attack! he's a more technically superior version of Felix Trinidad! who was also stuffed when he moved up to 160) . It will be very interesting to see if Eubank Junior improves at 168, mainly his power which? i have been highlighted as his one Achilles heel.Been saying on the forum the longest. If 168 is so easy to dominate as Abel and ggg fans claim. Why not win a strap at 168? K2 got the ''drawing'' power and money now. Eubank Jr. sounds like a good scrap. For the IBO 168 isn't far fetched.
People have no idea Golovkin could be top 3 at 168. At his age now, I don't understand why he hasn't challenged himself at a higher division like other great champions. The hell does wanting Alvarez do for Golovkin winning an easy strap at 168? It's irrelevant
Apparently the 168 pound division is the most participated division in boxing right now, the body weights and dimensions of the athletes in the division! make it the average weight class for most males world wide.
But in my opinion the 168 division is not a very hostile landscape at this point in time, and i think Golovkin is refined enough to beat most guys at the weight class!Comment

If Golovkin gets beat by Jacobs (honestly it depends on how he would get beat; ie a flash knockdown vs a beatdown stoppage vs a close decision loss, etc), Golovkin likely has to move up in weight and/or take on the biggest fight he can find.
In a perfect world, he'd get the loser of the Alvarez vs Chavez Jr fight, but the likely outcome is a marquee fight in Germany against a fighter like Arthur Abraham, Felix Sturm, or Robert StieglitzComment

That's not a bad idea. A more ''convincing'' win against Abraham would have Arum's interest for Ramirez? If Golovkin gets beat by Jacobs (honestly it depends on how he would get beat; ie a flash knockdown vs a beatdown stoppage vs a close decision loss, etc), Golovkin likely has to move up in weight and/or take on the biggest fight he can find.

You mean to tell me DeGale or Jack would beat GGG??? Really? No one at 160-168 beats him. He won't lose to no damn 160 pounder period. Stop daydreaming fool.Been saying on the forum the longest. My sentiments exactly. No one at 160 beating Golovkin. We can hype the fight to make it interesting (I hope it will be) but unless Jacobs catches him early on (ala Quillin) Golovkin will get to Jacobs and beat him down to a TKO or KO.Comment

A better question would be ... where do you go if GGG gets beat by Jacobs?
A week of celebration/gloating, then you'll have to find yourself a new hobby.Last edited by kafkod; 01-26-2017, 10:06 PM.Comment

More importantly, where will the fanboys go?
Kovalev lost. What if GGG loses, where do they go? Beterbiev? Which other Eastern Euro is out there? Usyk?Comment
