So why not fight a big name for a legacy such as fury. Fury has said he'd be ready for Feb, after a 5 week camp. Wilder complains that's too long...but he's fighting in 4 weeks himself lol wtf???
Wilder and his lack of opponents

You see in the real world we operate by contracts and dates...then we need to negotiate purses and of course fighters don't promote themselves ( well Wilder does not in this case ) and your advisors and the networks have to sign off on the proposed matches. -
I think Fury is just getting attention and isn't serious. However, Wilder really needs to fight someone credible.
I know its late but I really think they should scrap the card altogether and get him a new opponent one that is credible.Comment

Considering the crap that Fury pulled with Wladimir I don't think Wilder should waste his time. He's been inactive and had a bad injury so I think we can look away while Wilder takes on some lard ass his camp finds at the concession stand of the venue on fight night.Comment

The issue isn't just whether or not Wilder fights Fury, it is whether or not Wilder fights anyone of note.
Since beating Stiverne, Wilder has fouhght 4 times in 2 years, 2 of those opponents can be best described as journeymen, one can be best described as a once decent heavyweight now long past his best and the remaining, Spzilka has an ok-sih fight. Apart from the Arreola bout, he's had tough, back and forth battles with all of them. So not only is he not fighting noted opponents, he is not doing as well as he should against seriously subpar opponnets.
He was set to start the year against another nobody and that guy is likely to be replaced with yet anothern obody, so why not call Furys posisble bluff? Why use the excuse that 5 weeks is too long for him (his own words) even though he is fighting in 4 weeks anyway. It's sad.Comment
