The Merchant Bias?

they all have their own opinions, & the older you get the more opinionated you become(i guess that why they're trying some new guy, Lenox sucks though). Letterman always scores fairly in my opinion, so i just listen to him, and stewart aint that bad(but he is pretty bad). i think the best announcer they ever had was Foreman, his prospective was for inside the ring & i liked that. Now i gotta say Zab is a bum, he came 100% at floyd, and he was impressive, cause he knew he had to be, but the fight before that(which i didnt see) he must of thought was a pushover. if he were a true champ he'd come in 100% every fight and live up to that potential people saw when he first started.

Lederman is VERY biased against Wladimir. Merchant seems to like him a lot, especially after he started winning again. I didnt like how Merchant kept ****tin on Judah when he fought Floyd.

larry was right about mayorga, Emaanual sterard was dissing mayorga real bad, basically calling him a bum, when he's not he's not on oscars level but he was undisputed welter chapion

Man stewart was just saying the truth, Mayorga is an amateur(and not a very good one), but he's got a hard punch and that can take you far in this sport, if you can land clean.

Was anyone else upset at this or was it just me because Im a Floyd & Zab fan.

I didnt like the way through the whole Floyd & Zab fight that Merchant would kill Zab and act like he was a bum. He killed him before the fight, through the fight, and after the fight. He made it sound like Zab was a bum with no skill. He also basically spit on what Floyd was doing because everytime Floyd would do anything, Larry would basically say "yeah but Zab sucks". Why would you do this when you also have "some" mainstream fans tunning in and wont think anything of the fight.

But then when Oscar fights Mayorga, Steward starts downing Mayorga and Merchant goes crazy about that. He act like he was really getting upset about it and was always quick to defend Mayorga.

Thats B.S. and it looked like he was showing alot of favortism towards Oscar over Floyd. Floyd's win means nothing but Oscar's win was so great and he beat a much better opponent? I dont think so.

I always preferred the British commentators. They're right on the money and will stop mid-sentence to comment on what just happened. Larry Merchant will continue with his long ass 4 minute speech (which takes a normal person about 30 seconds) while action is taking place.

i loved the reaction of the british broadcasters when julian jackson knocked out herold graham, they sounded like they wanted to say "this isnt fair "

i wish every broadcaster spent every last second of the judah/mayweather fight ****ting on judah. he deserves every bad thing larry merchant said about him and more. one reason i dont like watching other sports is because the commentators always stop short of saying anything bad about a player no matter how terrible they perform. judah should have had rotten fruit thrown at his ass on the way in and out of the ring, there was no real point to watching the fight, everyone knew who was gonna win, the only question was zab judah gonna act up like a ****** litte ***? and yes he did, what a surprise to us all!

Did it ever cross your mind that some people (many in fact) see Mayorga as a bigger threat than Zab, who lost to Carlos Baldomir, got a SD vs Corley, and could have lost to Rafael Pineda?
