Which fighter isn't flawed? We are humans after all. I only see GGG losing by corruption, a lucky punch, fighting way over his natural weight or age getting the best of him eventually.

I think that Golovkin will handle Jacobs, and stop him..... but I don't think that it will be easy..... Jacobs will be right in that fight early, and he will have his opportunities.....

Jacobs is very good, but Golovkin is better.

If you look at some of his early pro fights then he just stands and slugs in the middle of the ring - street stylee.

I'm guessing that after close to 450 pro and amateur fights plus ?? rounds of sparring, he must have a very good idea of what his chin can stand up to. Its a bit like jumping off a wall when a kid - you know the height you can comfortably drop from without your knees hurting and you ankles moaning.

Still, could be that Jacobs is the hardest or second hardest puncher he has been in with until now - Lemieux punches harder?

          maybe, not sure ?

          Jacobs punches better than Lemieux.

quicker, more accurate..... with better timing/instincts

Great points. I think he's earned the title "very good" so far, but I'm with you that I need to see him against better competition to call him great. I don't fault him for the thin stable at middleweight or for him wanting to stay there to unify the titles, but he's most likely going to have to leave MW to prove greatness, unless a great MW or 2 surfaces.

Ward was his opportunity for true greatness.

I don't blame them for passing on Ward, not at that point.

but middleweight is dead, they really did need to make some of those other fights they talked about..... Froch..... Chavez especially, they definitely should have fought him..... even maybe fights like ancient Hopkins, which was possible at one point.....

even ancient Hopkins profile/notoriety > the likes of Kell Brook

now they have to wait for Canelo..... and even if Golovkin beats him, Canelo cannot be viewed as Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns were, when they fought Hagler

saying..... "but he destroyed everyone he fought"..... simply does not cut the mustard when referring to a poor era..... it ALWAYS comes down to names/quality

Jacobs would definitely be a very good win.
