Will Golovkin Look/Perform Better Than Pirog?

I dunno...Pirog looked hella faster than Golovkin's style as of late.

Does it really matter in the end? I mean Pacquiao looked better against Hatton and Oscar but Floyd was the better man when they finally fought.

I personally didn't think Pirog did as good as people say he did. He was getting outlanded in almost every round and countered hard before that knockout punch.

Golovkin's jab will be working overtime for the first half of the fight. If he sees an opportunity he will take it but I dont see him taking unnecessary chances with Jacobs and rightly so. He will step on the gas around the 5th or 6th round and that will be all she wrote. It would be cool if it was an all out brawl but I dont see it happening. Golovkin TKO 7th round.

Thank you, I was just thinking this. Granted I haven't watched the fight in a while but I remember it being basically an even fight until the KO. People look at the 5th round KO and thats all they focus on. They make like Pirog dominated, he just caught him fairly early.

GGG is damn near 35 so comparing him to a guy in his early 20's is really unfair, plus Jacobs was Green then

And Jacobs outlanded Pirog in 4 out of the 5 rounds and outlanded him badly..not sure if many even watched the fight but Jacobs was beating his ass and just got caught

Is Pirog fight a benchmark to measure skills of both the fighters!?

I honestly doubt it. GGG will get the job done, but Pirog did great in there. In fact, I'm not too sure, he wouldn't beat GGG. When the middleweight division lost Pirog, they lost a future star. Really a shame.

The question you should be asking is - will Jacobs look/perform better against Golovkin than he did against Jacobs?
