I said in the past that if the Golovkin fight comes up when I was asking Eddie to make that fight, then I would have to advise my son to relinquish the British title and take that fight. But in reality he’s still in his apprenticeship. He shouldn’t be earning that money yet."

That's the ''ideal'' substitute for a 160 bout under Matchroom. Or perhaps Ryder told Hearn, ''hell no I'm fighting Golovkin, better you ask Brook, and the people will eat it!''

Hearn and K2 were talking about a catch with Golovkin at 157 LONG AGO before Eubank Jr. vs Golovkin was even announced.

Yeah the undercard is good, thought the undercard was on free TV though, only the Eubank fight is PPV. If the whole card is PPV I'll probably buy it. Just seen theyve got Andre Ward commentating aswell.
