TBH I really never followed paul's career all that close, but I do know that an inpronouceably named Ukrainian got beat down that night.

It was a good win for Paulie. Senchenko was never that good but he wasn't a "bum" either - He was probably somewhere between European title level and world level, but managed to pick up a world title. That said, you can only beat who is in front of you and Paulie went to Ukraine and beat an undefeated title holder.

Paulie was definitely a higher level of fighter than him and it showed. It also must be pretty embarrassing to have a stoppage loss to Malignaggi on your record.
