I say Floyd gets beat by both Hearns and Duran.

while i agree that these are talented fighters that PBF should eventually fight, I dont think they are currently holding back his legacy. I think a win over Oscar DLH at either 154 or 147, but especially @ 154 would be a more impressive win right now for Floyd not to mention the biggest payday avaliable. Floyd looks to be going for Oscar, and if that happens We wont see PBF vs Hatton this year, I think Hatton will lose BADLY @ 147 before the year is out much of the PBF/Hatton hype will be gone, and Margarito will still be there after the PBF/DLH fight. You can't really plame PBF for wanting the "biggest" fight can you?

Don't get me wrong here, im not fighting you on this. Floyd should fight all of those fighters you mentiond, as well as others. I just don't think those couple of fights are hurting PBF at this point in his career

if pbf was fighting back then he would've never fought hearns or hagler...he would have said they were nobodies and not enough money was given for the risk....just like he says about margarito..sugar ray would mop pbf face all over the ring ....

"Don’t look for Floyd to go up in weight to challenge Jermain Taylor for the middleweight title, or to demand a match with the light heavyweight champion, Antonio Tarver. Those feats are reserved for ultra-talented legendary fighters, guys like Harry Greb, Mickey Walker, Sugar Ray Robinson, Archie Moore, Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard"

I thought mayweather was in his fourth weight class, with 130 his best weight...

people are WAY TOO carried away with Mayweather!!!! jesus, he isnt the first fighter to ever get to 36-0. srl would beat the **** out of him, it wouldn't be close. tommy hearns at welter would have beat the **** out of mayweather. duran would have beat the **** out of him. in the 80's he would have been just like his father, another fringe contender, that's all. donald curry would have kicked his ass. milton mcrory would have kicked his ass. lloyd honeyghan would have kicked his ass. mike mccallum would have kicked his ass. he ain't ****. especially at welterweight. he didn't prove **** at 140 and he aint proved **** at 147. period end of story.,.
