Its an interesting fight and a smart fight for Canelo from a business perspective. The fight boxing needs for the sake of boxing is Canelo-GGG though. Can't blame Canelo for wanting to rake in the dough with Chavez Jr first, as long as he comes to the table and gets the deal done with Triple G in September like his team has been saying they will. If it doesn't happen in September I don't think you can really make excuses for Canelo anymore. It will just mean he doesn't want the fight. The fight could easily be derailed. Both guys are in tough in interesting fights but they are expected to win. Canelo-GGG is the real mega fight. Having them both in meaningful fights before then helps build the momentum. Lets just hope they capitalize on that wave.

Make no mistake, this fight is gonna be a war! Canelo is moving up significantly & Chávez Jr. is comfortable at that weight. Mexican pride, a show & prove fight will have Chávez Jr. at his very best. Canelo is always ready & we'll see if he can bring his power up to near supermiddle weight. This is a guaranteed all action brawl for nat'l bragging rights, a can't miss FOTY candidate!

Doesn't matter if it's turns into a mis-match. GGG vs Canelo is the fight that the boxing world wants to see. Most fans (casual and hardcore fans) also think it's a 50/50 fight.

Even though this will most likely be a very interesting and action-packed fight. The fight boxing really needs at this point for the sake of boxing is definitely Canelo-GGG, you can't deny that.

If GGG goes to 168 it should only be for DeGale, Groves or Ramirez

BTW, why isnt Canelo fighting Ramirez?

Oh, that's right, he's too good
Canelo is 5'7 and 1/2" and Ramirez is 6'2 and 1/2." That fight makes no sense.

You misunderstood dog, I am at boxing fan of course I want to see Canelo grow ****ing balls and fight Triple G. By saying all that stuff he is putting on a front because he knows he doesn't want to match him against him,, already talking about doing a Trilogy with Chavez Jr. Deeper than what you were thinking

This its getting old ....GGG already have an offer from Canelo if he want to fight ..then he needs to sign the contract and then we have the fight that every fan want.

Why GGG wonīt give us the fight we want?

...Chavez Jr itīs willing to play the B side to make his Canelo Fight happen, he is taking a financial hit to achieve greatness and play the A side later if he win.

Why if it is an easy fight to GGG to win he donīt accept the B side role and beat the **** out of Canelo and then he can play the A side role and make all demands that he want.
