Considering how much praise ward gets on this site for beating barrera,does a win over barrera mean beterbiev is considered one of the top dogs in the division? If beterbiev does a better job on him than ward did, how significant a statement would that be? Will he get credit for it or will people say that barrera was never the same after ward beat him?

By far his best win because Barrera is a top 10 LHW & is coming off his own best win over Shabransky and still has ambition to succeed in the division, when Artur fought Cloud and Campillo they were both past it and pretty much done in the sport. This is a real resume booster for Beterbiev but a loss here will certainly and rightfully put him in the "exposed" files. That said I think he wins. -
It would be a be a better won for Beterbiev than Ward. It was a good won at the time for Andre, not great. It would be a much better won for Bievs because it would show his progression to beat better fighter as he rises up.Comment

I mean Barrera been dropped how many times now? even Ward put him down and that other euro-bum in his last fight made him take a count. Considering his poor defense and Beterbiev heavy hands its not going to impress me one bit....nope tailored made for him. Now if I could see Arrrtur show me some proper footwork and a sharp accurate jab for twelve rounds that might entertain me.Comment

Considering how much Andre Ward struggled with Barrera which a tonne of biased idiots ignore this would be a good win for Beterbiev If he pulls it off.
I mean look at the face of Ward and Barrera after the fight, Barrera looked absolutely unscathed for someone who apparently got schooled by Ward I do question why Wards face was all marked up and bruised, people ignored the good body work and inside work Barrera did to accommodate their bias just like some have done with the Kov Vs Ward fight.Comment

I agree, I thought he was just a tuning up fight for Andre. That's what everyone on here was telling me. Ward beat him first so it's irrelevant what Artur does and how he does it.
