Comments Thread For: Jacobs: Most Guys are Beaten Mentally When They Face Golovkin

New York - Daniel Jacobs (32-1, 29 KO's) - better known as the "Miracle Man" - has already fought and won the toughest battle of his life when he defeated cancer several years ago. His trainer, Andre Rozier, believes there is nothing the Brooklyn middleweight can be afraid of in the ring when he already defeated his toughest opponent outside of it.

Most guys say that before they fight Golovkin too though.

Definitely not a good thing to go in there showing him too much respect and letting him dictate things from the beginning. But stepping to him carries risk too. You might hit the jackpot but you might get blasted.

GGG is a once in a lifetime fighter. Just because he hasnt faced "ward", Kovalev , people outside of 160 doesnt deflate his resume. **** Danny ****ing garcia is a worse cherry picker snd finally got into a high level match up after 3 years of being a champion. Fighters want Danny garcia, fighters dont want GGG. AS A PAYING CUSTOMER, i prefer undisputed champions rather than see multi division champion with no undisputed "title". because at least we know who the GUY is, not GUYS with belts. People hate on pacquiao for having 8 belts, and wasnt undisputed or lineal champ in 2 of the 8 divisions he ruled. People will ALWAYs hate, wether you go up , or down. So **** them all & reign supreme at 160 till your body says you cant

        GGG might get blasted himself.

Garcia has a better resume than GGG plus he's way younger and not afraid to take challenges.

If he's a cherrypicker at least he's not an old 35 y/o cherrypicker.

Monroe, Lemieux and Stevens were not afraid of GGG. They believed he's not that good. But once they felt that power, they checked out. That Stevens's face in the 2 round though lol.

I don't think they were beaten mentally. I just think they had no chance to win.
