It was 8-4, maybe 7-5. Also didn't Bradley knock JMM down unofficially in the last seconds? Bradley was the better man that night.
Why do people make out bradley v marquez was one sided?

I've mostly seen people on here whinging that JMM got robbed lol
Plus, if you actually watched the fight when it happened and not just boxrecd it and then watched it, you'd see the truth: Bradley won by a wide margin. He out jabbed, out moved, out boxed...out everything(ed) JMM for 12 impressive rounds.Comment

I saw a close fight with Bradley closing the show big in the last round. Marquez was very frustrated with the speed and footwork of Bradley but was still landing good shots. Bradley made him miss a lot though, in the exchanges Bradley would land more though Marquez would pop him with a good shot here and there.
Honestly the timing helped Bradley. Everyone expected Marquez to be Mike Tyson in this fight and ko Bradley. Marquez has never been effective as the lead fighter against fighters with fast feet. If a fighter takes a step back and takes advantage of Marquez's warrior spirit and force him to lead it makes for a relatively easy night against the legend.
That matchup is not a good one for Marquez either. Sit back and counter against a fast fighter who uses a lot of footwork and the fight is lost due to activity unless you land a bomb. Or take the lead and look ineffective against the faster, slicker fighter.Comment

This is the only fight I didn't like from Bradley, he was too defensive. I like the warrior version of Bradley.Im confused, seen this comment a few times cropping up on this site, people saying bradley beat marquez easily, he schooled him, bradley gave him a boxing lesson, it was a great win etc. Scorecards were 115-113 bradley, 115-113 marquez, 116-112 bradley. Thats a pretty close decision.
CompuBox stats showed Bradley landed 168 punches of 562 thrown while Marquez landed 153 punches of 455 thrown. Marquez connected on 115 power punches to Bradley's 86.
I scored the fight 114-114 and ive watched it a couple of times. Did me and the judges watch a different fight to everyone else? Cause it seemed pretty damn close to me...
And was it really a great performance from bradley? Marquez was a 40 year old guy fighting at a division considerably above his natural weight. Seems as if people pick and choose when age and weight matters in beating an opponent...Comment

Marquez always had trouble with boxers who are using movements, and jabs. Bradley won in a very close fight.Comment

I don't put any stock in punch stats. It's literally a couple of guys pushing a button when they think a punch landed. Why would anyone put any stock in that? Plus a power punch is recorded as any punch other than a jab and Bradley completely took away JMMs jab that night.Comment
