Why do people make out bradley v marquez was one sided?

Im confused, seen this comment a few times cropping up on this site, people saying bradley beat marquez easily, he schooled him, bradley gave him a boxing lesson, it was a great win etc. Scorecards were 115-113 bradley, 115-113 marquez, 116-112 bradley. Thats a pretty close decision.

CompuBox stats showed Bradley landed 168 punches of 562 thrown while Marquez landed 153 punches of 455 thrown. Marquez connected on 115 power punches to Bradley's 86.

I scored the fight 114-114 and ive watched it a couple of times. Did me and the judges watch a different fight to everyone else? Cause it seemed pretty damn close to me...

And was it really a great performance from bradley? Marquez was a 40 year old guy fighting at a division considerably above his natural weight. Seems as if people pick and choose when age and weight matters in beating an opponent...

            Compare Bradley/Marquez to Pacquiao/Marquez 1 - 3.

Marquez, a natural counter puncher, was unable to really hurt Bradley over 12. Yet Pacquiao barely got out of three of their fights, including one gift.

That's why it was comparatively a schooling.

I am unlikely to re-watch it but the impression I had all the time was that Marques looked very frustrated and ineffective. I don't recall seeing anyone beating him that clearly, save for Mayweather, so maybe that's why everyone remembers it as they do. Tim may not have "dominated", but doing that well against the Marquez who just killed Pacquiao left a real strong impression. So, yea, maybe he gets some extra credit because of when it took place.
