He definitely can't claim lack of motivation for this mandatory.

Maybe because he is finally fighting a mandatory that makes the fight worth watching,i would watch Brook Spence anyway all day over Brook Khan

The reason is simple, his resume is thin. Spence has 21 fights and only 2 twelve rounders.
Algerie's the only name guy on his record (Boodoo-Whodoo?) and the IBF is the only org. to rank him #1 contender.
Spence is a great prospect but he's getting a shot at a title without being in with a top guy.
Brook, like any fighter out there today, is going for the big payday.
As a fan I'd rather see Spence fight Brook but Khan-Brook is a mega fight in the UK and boxing is more business than sport.
He's not a prospect, he's a contender who earned his shot. His resume is better than Kell's resume when he earned his shot against Porter. People on this site say some ****** shit.

For Brook fighting Khan is low risk, high reward, and fighting Spence is high-risk, much lower reward. Khan is second-tier at best. The only thing he can do is cash out because there is no way he beats the top welters. Khan must know that his chances of beating Brook are close to zero Let's see if his ego allows him to take the beating.

              Basically this.

Also Brook never had a problem fighting his mangos and now he is not motivated to fight Spence.

I rather a Brook/Khan anyway to get that out of the way already.

Khan has the dumbest team in boxing but they are not that dumb now anymore, it seems they have learnt a bit. His ego is now in check, he isn't fighting Brook unless he is satisfied that Brook has taken enough damage/tough competition like he has.

LOL! That is funny. Hey, that is a strange way of looking at it. But who am I to judge. I think Brook knows this is a 50/50 fight at best. I don't believe Brook is "afraid" of Spence, after all, this is the guy who stepped up to fight Golovkin.

I actually like Brook and I understand his argument for wanting to fight Khan instead of Spence. However, you can't be the guy who was willing to get your face cracked to prove how tough you are and now has to get motivated to face an undefeated Olympian who is also your mandatory.

I don't think any boxer is "Scared or afraid" of each other, but fighting GGG is NOT a risk (In terms of reward), Brook fighting Spence is a risk.
