Floyd hasn't been "closeted" in his support, but not outspoken either. Good for him. This public shaming of people who support Trump (or who may not even like him but have decided to support the president) is poison. The outcome of this election was a big FUQ YOU to the media, celebs, and malcontents who have tried to make people ashamed for their choices. If you can't understand why people elected him, then you were never truly trying to give the guy a chance in the first place.

(damn, I told myself I wasn't going to turn that into a rant )

easy to see why Tyson is one of trumps top supporters.

Would have been so easy for trump to throw tyson under the bus and distance himself and his brand as far away as possible from tyson, reporter keeps trying to get him to do it and he wont.

Agreed it's just surprising the media didnt nail him down early on as they like to do. If you're on the fence politically and are a black celebrity that usually gets you some bad press. The shameful toxic thing that is going on now is celebs and the privelaged elite pushing the brunt of destructive anger and hopelessness on the the black community. They literally are using them however destructive it may be as their last substantial effort to coral a majority of the public against him.

Lemme guess...............he's an "uncle Tom" now too? Not directed at you but I can expect to read or see something similar to that either in this thread or on the news like tomorrow. Crap is sad but it's unfortunately going to be true.

Good for Floyd, at least he's being his own man.

Obviously Floyd likes the big shot image, so cosying up with the President is probably something he wants too but still, fair play to him. Whatever you think of him, he's never played the game to get people to love him like most celebrities.

This is pretty ridiculous. Anyone can go to a presidential inauguration and should. You can be part of history even if you disagree with the one coming in. Floyd made the right move here. Trump is trying to work with everybody. Why not give the man a chance?

Because Trump is loyal and says what he means and means what he says. Before getting into the political arena the media never took him to task on his rhetoric or statements because he will never back down (just as he never backs down now). Roy Cohn, a nasty famous NY lawyer was a key confidant to shaping Trump and Stone early on. Basically his rule of thumb was to always fire back at those attacking you and never backdown. If you never backdown and fight it, then the public won't consider you a pushover. Now that I think about it Tyson never backs down either

It was a blow that the media deserved and had coming for quite some time. They're supposed to just report the news without their constant spin of it. And the representatives should represent everybody- not just their own interests. FUQ YOU well deserved.
