Clinton took CA by 3.5M votes, which btw was larger than her overall lead. Taking CA by 3.5M votes or by 0.35M votes doesn't matter. A fighter can win a round by landing 20 more punches or by 2 more ... regardless, the extra punches don't carry over to the next round.
