I just can't see Angel as the sole force behind his sons talents. There must have been earlier trainers who laid the foundations. His abuse of some substance would not let 8 hour dedicated days of training bag work sparring road work strength and conditioning overseen by this fool possible . He never mentions specific techniques or between rounds besides cursing no intelligent advice is given

I saw something on PBC I think, 2014, where Angel Garcia went to prison for selling drugs but it was him who introduced DSG to boxing and put him in a gym. But during the time that Angel was in prison you are right, some one must've trained DSG.

Danny doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks of his father. Say what u want but his father is the reason he's at where he is at today. And that loyalty doesn't go out the window just because someone doesn't like your father. They went from poor to rich. Life is good for the Garcia's.

You don't know **** about Danny's career if you think Angel has anything to do with where he is today. Angel was a crackhead who ended up in prison. Never trained Danny or had anything to do with his boxing. Danny was brought up and developed by local Philadelphia trainers Mike Milloy and Jimmy Lowry.

Even when Angel got out of prison he didn't have anything to do with Danny's carrer at first. But after a while it was clear than Danny had talent. Angel only then started to involve himself. He knew nothing about boxing and learned how to 'train' fighters from the internet.

Honestly the guy is every bit the scumbag he appears to be. He ****ed over Danny's amateur trainers. And then he ****ed over a local management outfit that had given significant money to Danny and the family.

He is just a horrible, horrible piece of ****. Deep down I think he knows what a lowlife he is and that's where all the hate and anger comes from. He's just scum.

I got to liking Danny Garcia but that fact that he is not embarrassed by his father's racist comments and is totally submissive to his father in every way makes me want to see Thurman knock him the *** out and see Garcia's dad's face. I hope if that happens, someone records his dad the whole time and uploads it. The WBC should block his father from working the corner. Racism is not tolerated!!
