The irony is all the typical GGG fan boys voting and praying for canelo to lose. But if he does that only screws GGG. No career payday and no opportunity to boost his fanbase. He stays where he is with no real options but to move up and face bigger opponents bigger risk for less money. Canelo if he loses is likely locked into a rematch later this year hell maybe this drags into a trilogy. Or canelo goes back down in weight and fights cotto either way GGG is left out to dry with someone else getting the payday. If you GGG you begging for canelo to win so you can get in on the gravy train in sept.

I have nothing against Chavez. I have always been a big Canelo fan so I am rooting for him as usual. I don't give Chavez much of a chance to win. I expect it to be a real war and a great fight.

Neutral. Hoping for a great fight.

I will as always root for the underdog so I will be rooting slightly for Chavez Jr!

I had to take a hiatus from these forums. There was (and are) still too many Chester's the ******er's on the block. And the neighborhood watch group (i.e moderators) have been too laxed to police these fools.

Good to see you're still one of the good ones left. Stay vertical homey.

Would be a miracle for this to happen, if Chavez by some weird miracle can make the weight and trains like never before in his life and somehow Canelo has a terrible day, Chavez is still getting robbed on the cards, we have seen this in all of Canelos previous fights against Lara, Cotto, Trout, Khan, Mayweather etc. Chavez needs a knockout in the first couple rounds, he will be so completed he will be a sitting duck after 3-4 rounds.

Chavez is like a 11:1 underdog? Anyway, i am all for Chavez in this, why? Cuz i got high, cuz i got high cuz i got high.

anyone know if/what the over weight penalties are in the contract?

chavez going to actually make 164.5??? I dont think he even can.

if the fine is low enough then he will just say f it and come at 170 or something and canelo will be in trouble

Canelo is a joke and chavez is a bum

but I dislike chavez less so I hope he knocks the coward out.

It's a million dollars a pound, lol. He's got plentyof time to lose the weight provided he takes this seriously and trains like he is supposed to.

                      1) jr is only significant because of his last name (2 perks - 1, his daddy. 2, his heritage).
                      2) why would anyone want to derail the fight we all want to see ? canelo is obviously fighting jr to see if he can handle a big punch. after he beats jr, we will have canelo vs 3g.

sometimes fight fans fight against the big picture out of pure spite.
