No, definitely not. Jr. had his chance to rise and be the next big Mexican star, but he blew it. He'd rather smoke a bowl than box. All the shyt his old man went through and he couldn't even train. He's a disgrace. Whatever qualms one might have with Canelo, the red head shows up to train, takes on quality opposition and is much more dedicated to the sport at such a young age than Chavez ever was. This is why aristocracy doesn't work in boxing. Each man has to show up in the ring at the end of the day. Canelo didn't have much growing up and fought his way to the top. Jr. had plenty I am sure and he's pished it away. I go with Canelo.

I like Canelo, and hope he beats Chavez Jr.

I find it difficult to believe Jr will make weight for the fight.

ah fair ,i thought you think that fight itself will be bad.

But there need to be a lot of BS fights cuse elite vs elite fighters happen rearly

I'm rooting for Chavez. But not because I'm a fan of Chavez or hate Canelo. Mostly to stick it to f@ggot ass Oscar.

Yes. I've always liked junior. Not a favorite of mine, but definitely a guy I like to watch in the ring. I know you want to know why...

think about it, if you go into a room at an athletes convention...with 500 athletes in the room...what are the odds that one of these guys will be a prize fighter? Now assuming we have a pool of interested guys, how many in this pool will make the cut enough to have a professional fight? moving on along we finally get to how many of these guys will be a champion?

Most people throw it in the guy's face that his dad was the great Chavez senior...but if you really think about it its quite an accomplishment for this guy to have been succesful in the ring to any degree!

With that said junior has a nice consistant body attack, has power, good whiskers. he has talents. Not a great fighter but despite all the haters has done well for himself.
