People were saying Jacobs deserved 40% vs GGG. You're saying Lara is a bigger star than Jacobs, so would you say Lara deserves 50/50 with GGG then?

You guys make me laugh, man. Lara sold 2,500 tickets one of his recent fights. GGG sells 20,000. And yet Lara still wants a big payday. And he still won't fight at 160. He could have called out Jacobs, beaten Jacobs, and gotten the mandatory spot for GGG a year ago if he really wanted to fight GGG.

i never said lara deserved a thing..all i said is u could pay previously ko'd jacobs..but wouldnt fight reigning champ lara...didnt even negotiate. flat out said he's a nobody..

i bet lara would fight thurmat 154 tomorrow so i dont want to hear about ggg being to scared to fight lara unless lara is the number 1..

This^^^^ Spike is not competing with HBO/Showtime who get paid off subscribers and not commercial time. Totally different business model and ****** to compare. hell 500K on premium cable would be bad numbers too even if you did. But on basic cable this is terrible. Reruns of Cops that cost NOTHING do better ratings then this on friday nights on Spike. The real news here is Spike is not improving their ratings. They are not building their audience. They have just ****** so much that people just lowered the bar. FNF fights featuring UNKNOWN prospects and journey men low level fights not on the main ESPN channel but ESPN2 with a shoestring budgets paying all the fighters less then 50K total drew almost 400K viewers during this exact same time slot before PBC. So don't tell me drawing 500K paying Lara alone more then ESPN paid all their fighters in 1 year is a success. Spike debuted PBC with 879K ratings for perspective. Fanboys were saying this is just the beginning watch how these numbers rise and get better. They didn't they leveled out and now 500K is basically the best you can hope on a nightly basis just to get slightly better then FNF fights ratings but with 10X budget where the event loses money.

why are some of you guys comparing Spike numbers with showtime? Showtime has about 23 mio subscribers, Spike network has around 98.7 mio subscribers. So you cant just directly compare these numbers.

For a better picture you need to compare his numbers with other boxing events on Spike.
