Chickenson certainly embarrassed boxing running away to another network to avoid Kovalev fight. Haymon destroyed the 2nd fight by pulling the bogus bid deal where they redfused to let adonis fight Kov on HBO when Kov demanded he be WBC mando. Haymon pulling all the stops to keep his boy from getting ruined. Haymon protects Wilder on similar terms.

He has a pattern of ducking fights fans want to see. Pascal and Hopkins are lucrative fights as well, so it's not just Kovalev that he ducked.

Stevenson don't have to chase anyone, he just need the 3 other titles Ward is holding. But what about Kovalev, which Ward is making wait for a rematch. Lately, the WBC ranked Kove in the 2nd position, right. Please help me with this Joe, why we don't hear Kovalev barking about Stevenson now, how come Kovalev is not trying to get a shot at Stevenson, to complete this chapter with the unification of all the major belts against Ward.

Stevenson lately has been the Wilder of the LHW division. He just needs to step it up for at least a couple fights to ward off the naysayers. Will he do it? I doubt it, but stranger things have happened. I mean, at least rematch Cleverly after Haye dusts him in 2. And what about Braehmer, Beterbiev, Joe Smith Jr? Or Gvozdyk, Chilemba, Eleider Alvarez. Stevenson and Kovalev shared the same card to set up the fight on HBO and Stevenson straight up ran like a scared punk to Showtime knowing he avoided the fight when it was easiest to make.
