The fact that he is Mexican, but white looking and ginger! gives him some kind of unique appeal. As a personality of course for English speaking people its hard for us to perceive his personality in full, but that was also the case with Miguel Cotto for many years! i think some fighters just have a aura about them which enables them not to really say much or trash talk.

How come they're not that into much better boxers and warriors? Marquez, Morales, Barrera, none of them were half as popular. It's the looks, isn't it

Ha ha, yeah, you can say the same thing about Loma except for the fact that Loma isn't popular, struggling to attract fans to his fights, can't sell ppv's and far from being the boxing biggest star, but Canelo is, for some reason.

Other than that, there's no differences at all lol

So if there's no difference, why one of these guys is able to sell his fights and the other guy can't? Maybe because Loma's style is less entertaining? Or maybe because Loma facing worse competition? No, that's only because one of them is Mexican, that's why
No I meant that he doesn't have charisma it's hard to understand him and he doesn't speak English very good. Maybe you can understand him and see that he does have a personality but I can't. Same with Canelo I understand Spanish so I can see that he in fact does have a personality. A strong silent type. Since Canelo doesn't speak Spanish it's hard for you to see what I'm saying. I guarantee that if Loma spoke as good as Kov in English or gg he would be almost as big as those two

Canelo doesn't even know English, unlike some other non-US boxers who actually try to learn the language but Canelo don't even trying

I understand why McGregor is the biggest thing in UFC, the mother****er has a hell of a personality, I don't like him but I can't pretend like it's not true

Look at the boxing world now. Somehow, Canelo is the biggest star in boxing, the star with absolutely ZERO charisma, so the fact that he's Mexican and the fact that he has Floyd fight in his resume is the only reason why he's the biggest ppv fighter in boxing? I mean, really?

So you don't have to do much to become a biggest boxing star if you happen to be mexican and have a good, not great, but good skillset? You don't even have to have an entertaining personality?

Man, if a guy like this is a biggest boxing star at the moment, it means there's just no fighters in boxing who can be entertaining and charismatic outside the ring now and some people keep wondering why boxing is doing so bad nowadays
he actually is learning english. I have seen some of his interviews and oscar says at much and he answers peoples questions that are in english without them translated. he just doesn't seem comfortable answering them back. kind of like chavez jr.

besides that the ho's all seem to like canelito

The way you fight gives you charisma.

That's true in the US for sure, but the Mexican scene is pretty weak at Canelo weight.
