  • How Canelo can be a biggest boxing star if he doesn't have charisma AT ALL?

I'm not trolling, but that's BS

Canelo doesn't even know English, unlike some other non-US boxers who actually try to learn the language but Canelo don't even trying

I understand why McGregor is the biggest thing in UFC, the mother****er has a hell of a personality, I don't like him but I can't pretend like it's not true

Look at the boxing world now. Somehow, Canelo is the biggest star in boxing, the star with absolutely ZERO charisma, so the fact that he's Mexican and the fact that he has Floyd fight in his resume is the only reason why he's the biggest ppv fighter in boxing? I mean, really?

So you don't have to do much to become a biggest boxing star if you happen to be mexican and have a good, not great, but good skillset? You don't even have to have an entertaining personality?

Man, if a guy like this is a biggest boxing star at the moment, it means there's just no fighters in boxing who can be entertaining and charismatic outside the ring now and some people keep wondering why boxing is doing so bad nowadays

Agreed. Boxing fans these days have really low standards for what they consider a superstar in boxing.
    As you said before
Good skillset + Mexican + a few names in resume = superstar

So we admit that Mexican fighters have the big advantage over other boxers when it comes to the potential to become ppv star? And in this case, boxing fans are even ready to forgive a dull personality? That's just not fair to fighters who are unlucky enough to be non-Mexicans because they have to work harder to earn the same spot, that's really a bull****, I mean he's not even trying to learn English

I respect a lot of Mexican fighters, but that Canelo kid just doesn't deserve to be the biggest star in boxing, his fame is only because of his ethnic origin and maybe, just maybe because of Floyd's name in the resume

And he's the most protected fighter now

If Canelo looked like the average mestizo he'd be fighting in a bullring in Guadalajara...thats when he's not washing dishes at the Olive Garden.

Canelo doesn't even look Mexican, he's not brown skinned and looks like a white dude to me, lol.

If I wasn't a boxing fan and you told me that Canelo was some pool shark from Boston, I would've believe you. lol

Seems to me that people like Mexican Boxers who look like Novela dudes. Like Oscar and now Nelo.
