Both guys were way past their best anyway. Floyd was always going to be a stylistic nightmare for Manny and Manny would have lost in 2009 too. Even Roach said he thinks it would have been more difficult for Manny 5-6 years ago.

Both are past their best, Floyd maybe 2 years older but one is an aggressive fighter KTFO, wars, torn, hospitalized etc. It is obvious that Pacquiao would age faster.

But both are past their best. I lost interest in the fight the moment Pacquiao got KTFO by Marquez, because I knew Pacquiao is no longer the Pacquiao that we knew and love.

5-6 years ago, Manny that fought Miguel Cotto was going should have fought Floyd, and Floyd that fought Marquez should have fought Pacquiao.
