Well Khan got KTFO so they couldn't do a rematch if they wanted. Plus, rematching Khan was not necessary in order to duck GGG because Oscar had already said it wouldn't happen until Sept. 2017. What they would need a rematch for would be to extend the deadline. And Chavez Jr. won't likely get knocked out by a smaller man, so this could turn out much different, and much worse for boxing, if Oscar delays the GGG fight even more.
