It was 55% of the Mexican territory, in 1848, what the U.S. stole from Mexico through an unjustified war. Ironically, the big wall about to be constructed, will be placed to separate Mexico from a huge chunk of territory that legally belonged to them, including some of the most beautiful and scenic parts of the current U.S.
