That's good. Showtime has to keep the momentum going. They can't keep taking these long breaks. And that's very good for these two fighters.

Can't use the excuse that the numbers were low because of the NFL Playoffs because this has been a trend of low ratings for a long time now from showtime. 2 years ago they were doing double this and neck and neck with HBO and now a unification fight can't even crack 500k. HBO boxing after dark got under cards with prospects doing 600k or more viewers.

PBC, Showtime, & Haymon does a bad job making stars out of their fighters. The sad part about it is they have some talented fighters under their brand. I believe right now Thurman is the most popular fighter under the Haymon banner. It doesn't look like the free TV fights are gaining any fans for their fighters but I expect Thurman to fight on PPV soon IF he gets pass Garcia. Showtime might as well give up boxing or just focus on helping bring up Haymon's prospects. CBS, Spike, ESPN, etc. are taking the few good fights from Showtime.

Showtime was hot, now they not. Sucks because they got some good fights on deck. Hope they get better ratings as the year goes by.

That Mayweather/Haymon deal looks worse and worse over time.

Showtime was gettin it's highest rating when Mayweather was fighting every 6 month's. Why. When you order a PPV you get Showtime free for months.
