Will do at or below the Thurman/porter fight. PBC is not gaining fans porter fight did WORSE then the PBC debut Thurman vs Guerrero despite it being a better more relevant fight. And each fight has drawn less ratings after the debut on that network. The only exception has been the Spence fight during the Olympics. If that trend continues this will draw less then last year's fight with porter.

There's a big UFC card that same night, I'll be sure to tell the bar to put one of the tv's onto the fight, otherwise they won't even know about it.
UFC card on Mar 4? Who is it PPV or Fox?

And Guerrero fight on NBC afternoon got good ratings. The CBS afternoon cards got over a million and I know one of the cards went up against the British Open. I keep saying Sunday afternoon because that's when most people are winding down from the weekend and once the NFL is over you only have Basketball to compete against until the summer when baseball heats up after the all star break.

One of the emails in the court case from PBC said they recognized early on that they're having a branding problem. They noticed it after the first couple of fights. It said they're putting on fights for the sake of putting on fights but not branding the product. Seems like they're trying to build it on an island. But even TV shows build off other successful TV shows as their lead in. Why aren't they showing afternoon cards on CBS after the afternoon football game and before the night college football game? They have to have good lead ins until people start to recognize the PBC name. Right now it's just boxing on TV. Even the casual fans don't know what a PBC is

It'll be both Fox and ppv. Woodley/Thompson II and Khabib/Fergeson in an eliminator to face McGregor, with Overeem/Hunt. Their still putting the rest of the card together.

Never heard of any of them. But don't UFC do a PPV every month?

CBS's Survivor gets about 6-9 million viewers per episode. NBC's The Voice gets 9-12 million.

They need to promote the hell out of this during the Super Bowl.

Make a commercial showing brief highlights of each guy...mention that both are undefeated...mention that each one is a world champion and that the winner will be unifying two belts.

Casuals are bound to be impressed by the unification angle.

Very ambitious number from Thurman, but doubtful. Spence-Bundu drew 6 million thanks to the Olympics if I remember correctly. I think 3-5 million watching you would still be great exposure for boxing and the two fighters. Those numbers are possible since 3 million has been cracked already for a lesser fight.

They need a gimmick. Mixing pro and Olympic boxing worked, hard to get that mixture. I just don't like it when they mix boxing with something incongruous, like a hip hop concert. Super Bowl & boxing?
