Why are so many MMA fighters getting boxing licenses?

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz are getting boxing licenses. Idk who he is but another mma fighter named King Mo is getting a boxing license and others are rumored to be doing the same as well.

Are they trying to make more money? What is the reason for this?

Idk but I hope they do get in a boxing ring and get worked so the ufc casuals can stop saying mma striking is on the same level as boxing.

Money. Idk if the 4 oz gloves give MMA fighters bigger egos than they already have as natural fighters, but I hope they get granted the licenses and actually fight quality opposition so we can see the difference with each one of them.

Chris Brown & Soulja Boy have shown there is still money to be made in boxing post-Manny & Floyd.

I think there are some MMA fighters that have good enough stand up where I think if they had a good trainer, they could make some noise in the sport of Boxing.
Holly Holm made the transition from professional Boxing to MMA and made it to the top. It's only a matter of time before an MMA fighter transitions to Boxing and makes some noise.
