Holly Holm made the transition from professional Boxing to MMA and made it to the top. It's only a matter of time before an MMA fighter transitions to Boxing and makes some noise.

I'm not sure any of these guys even have a legit chance of getting a fight with anyone who arguably could get them 7 digit paydays okayed by a commission being that all have 0 boxing matches & the guys who'd argubly get them huge paydays are world champions/great HOF caliber fighters. Likely you'd have more luck going the exhibition route.
And there are already MMA guys in boxing right now. Best example is probably Tyrone Sprong whos a HW prospect at this point & is a former kickboxing champion & MMA guy & he's still making peanuts in boxing 6 or 7 fights (all KO's) into his pro boxing career. And plenty of MMA guys have had boxing fights cuz boxing is a part of MMA which a lot of boxing guys seem to not understand or forget. The biggest problem is connections are more important or at least as important as winning in boxing & no one has really supported a MMA guys boxing career as of yet that I'm aware of.

Has anyone else noticed the best MMA fights are when they box? Even if a popular MMA fighter transitioned into boxing and had a mediocre career, itd probably help dividends (financially & professionally) to his/her career but of course popularity is key. Conor and the Diaz bros could make $ and sharpen their skills for sure but some random MMA fighter isnt going to just walk into boxing and make a 6 figure pay day nor will he ever become elite.
Anyways, Id love to see:
Nate Diaz vs Antonio Margarito
Nick Diaz vs Roy Jones Jr
Jon Jones vs Fury (both coked out)
&
Anthony Johnson vs Chris Arreola

a guy like malingaggi made over 5 million dollars in his career and he was never very good. no way that could happen in the mma/ufc. this is probably a good thing since competition is better in the ufc but if you are a person who wants money its better to be a boxer
