I think Roy Jones, Jr should stop wasting everyones time

Jones needs to hang 'em up, hes finished!!! he must be just fighting for the money now, and while im at it, wasnt Bernard Hopkins supposed to retire when he turned 40? Both he and Tarver should stop wasting our times too, who is Tarver kidding, one of the greatest off all time?!?!?! only in his wildest dreams will he ever be considered one of the greatest. Bernard is one of the greatests, but whys he still fighting.i'd much rather see Jones get knocked out again then watch 12 rounds of holding, and jabs, and more holding, and ducking, and circling.

I know some of u guys are gonna be like, "well u dont have to watch any of those fights if u dont want to," so that being said, i know i dont have to watch them, and im not going to, but there are ppl who will watch them expecting to see good fights, just to be dissapointed. Jones, Hopkins, and Tarver are wasting all of there times and everyone who is somehow involved in those "big" pay-per-are-you-kidding-view fights. there times are being wasted. Let me know what y'all think, feel free to be critical

see sometimes i wonder if he knows too. but you got a good point about the 50th victory thing, it'll look good on his record but will have no meaning

No not to us but to a casual fan there is a difference when you see that big 50 in the win column. Also alot of the general public does not even know RJJ has been KOed twice they still think he is Superman.I think in his mind it helps his legacy to have it.........I mean he has to be somewhat insecure now I mean it was obvious in the 3rd Tarver fight.

I wont say Roy's to a Holyfield level quit yet, but his getting pretty damn close, I hope he knows what his doing, becuz im rooting for him and think he can win atleast 2-3 more fights against no-bodies but anything else could damage him for life!

As for the upcomming Jones fight. I guess the prince asked Jones to for the fight, and beings its not on PPV. Im all for it. Even if Jones cant compete at the very top anymore I think he can still be very entertaining.

I hope Roy performs well in this fight. It would suck to see him reaching the Evander or Mike Tyson level.

I think he is trying to get his name back in the spotlight so he can get a fight with Joe Calzaghe. The thing he doesn’t realize is that he lost everyone’s respect for running from tarver for 12 rounds. He even admitted that he is a long ways from where he was skill wise after the third tarver fight but I cant understand why he would choose now to fight the best when he could have did this when he was 30. I guess it's just ego because its not like he had other big money fights to pursue.
