Is this for a title shot? Because the last time I checked Tony Bellew had it..

Yeah it must be to determine a mandatory challenger....

That's a damn good fight, Breidis absolutely dominated Durodola and even went up to heavy and cold****ed Charr.

Breidis is a big puncher, hoping he finishes Huck here.

I'm sorry, I forgot to include further details from the press release.

It says the WBC will recognize the winner as co-champion and that Bellew and the winner must face each other in their next fight. If one of them doesn't go through with that "unification" for whatever reason, the other one will be sole champion.

I agree it is a good matchup.. We have got to see what Huck has still left in him.. IMO he is past his prime & will be tough to get a W over the current top 3.. I think he might win by UD here..
& mate Charr is utter garbage.. the guy has been floored by every decent fighter...

Thanks for the details.. But that's crazy to have a co-champ! I mean Silver Belt is what I knew you'd need to become the official challenger, but its WBC! they bend rules willy-nilly..

It will also be for Huck's IBO belt.

Good that the deserving Maris Briedis finally has a title fight.

co champions? lol what a joke

as a match up tho this soudns great. Breidis can punch and Huck is a damn worry. I just feel the latter is too old and has been in too many wars to come through another pounding. Breidis by stoppage late.
