If smith were to win the wbc, groves the wba and eubank jr the ibo....any chance a supermiddleweight title leaves the UK in the next 5 or so years given the brits love of domestic tournament dust ups?

Well given the fact that he is getting this chance as a MANDATORY ... it is safe to say IF (a BIG IF) he wins the WBC strap, there is also a good chance he may have to contend with a mandatory obligation (at some point) not necessarily from Britain.

if u read the article - it said there's a good chance this fight doesn't happens as Jack is moving up with hopes of fighting Adonis Stevenson.

And Smith would have to fight Anthony Dirrell for the vacant title.

I used to like Callum but I've to come to the realisation that he's vastly over rated. It could be a easy payday for Badou if he fought the way he did vs De Gale.

Not sure who Smith has beaten of relevance in the paid ranks to be soooo sure he beats Direll EASILY.

A title fight against Direll if that comes off will be a significant step up for Smith whether you think Direll is terrible or not.

Still a significant step up for Jack who has been largely fed a steady string of no hopers in preparation for a title shot.

Jack is a sound compact strong SMW. He is def a LHW who can just make SMW. If he moves up he will have a lot more trouble. Still a good fighter obviously but his opponents will be as big as him.

Yes - the article clearly said "there is a high chance that Jack is moving up," and in which case he does - the title will be vacant, and Smith will fight Dirrell for the vacant title.
