Things look great so far but we have to remember that a good year can't just have one good month or two, you need the whole year. If they want to take January and July light, fine, but that still leaves 10 months where premium networks or at least their PPV outlets should be providing top matchups. Espinoza's talk about how it will be hard to match the matchups being made so far for the rest of the year has me very worried.

If Curtis decides to trade (even GGG refused to do so) with David, he will be in trouble. Since Curtis talked so much about power, he should test it against David.

          About time!
Hope Lemieux does not find a reason to back out this time around.
Good matchup between two fringe contenders.
Glad they get to be on HBO and make some coin in the process.

"Concussive", "Explosive" punchers....not be a stretch but certainly both have enough power to get your attention and respect.

Say what you will but I think this is a testament to GGG's popularity. Notice that the people want fights between his leftovers. Rosado-Stevens (BKB), Rosado-Monroe, and now Lemieux-Stevens. These guys, with maybe the exception of Lemiuex, should be thanking GGG for fighting them.

There's no way it will be a fight of the year type fight because the first guy who lands the hardest may mean it is over fast. It can be a KO of the year type fight. Lem may try to box more to give himself a better chance which means a good but not great fight.

If the fight goes more than 6 Stevens wins because Lem has always had stamina issues. So I don't reckon that he will try to box because he knows he fades bad. The first 5 rounds will interesting.

I said this back in August of last year and I'm sticking with it...

"Stevens lands something big between one of Lemieux's combos and knocks him out. Stevens looks for that **** whereas Lemieux just throws."

Don't leave for popcorn, this fight will end early...
