It's not like HBO's calendar is loaded for the year, and it's a better match-up than Cotto–Kirkland... which HBO also wasted money on.

no need to see high skilled boxers every time, if you consider yourself a boxing fan then you should like both, high technique matchs and wars

Great matchup. There's not many fights between contenders as when there was only 1 or 2 belts. 2 many belts now so contenders can sit on the sidelines and wait for a belt to slip due to peds/miss weight/ stripping
......... this is how it should be - and much more often than happens at the higher weights. Should set up the winner for a final eliminator.

Not only is this a decent match-up to separate the contender from the gate keeper, but it's obviously aimed at drumming up casuals' interest in the MW PPV the following weekend. The GGG hype will be on full display.
