Thought Chavez would be getting a bigger split. Just shows how badly he ****ed over the last few years.

You have to be kidding me. GGG vs Canelo was the biggest fight in boxing at one point. But Canelo said "I'm back to my natural division, I'm a 154 fighter"... come on.

GGG isn't even worth the $15million they're offering him. that's as good as it's gonna get. Chavez Jr is a C level opponent but he's the son of a legend and Mexican, that alone means he brings more $$$ to the table than GGG because it's no secret Mexican fans are single handedly keeping the sport alive.

Canelo and his fans know beating Chavez does absolutely nothing for his resume, it's simply a money fight and that's what boxers fight for.

To be honest, $15 million dollars is enough.

Fighters at the top level definitely get wrapped up in what the other guy is getting. It's a bit weird really. Fair enough if you are getting punched in the mouth for buttons but these guy aren't.

That's why in a way it was healthy dose of realism to have a welterweight like Brook take £3 million in a heartbeat to fight GGG at 160. Why wouldn't he ffs. Brook has now pretty much consolidated an extremely successful prizefighting career.

Which makes you think... are they really offering that to him? or is it lies as usual?

Why would they offer something that is more than what GGG brings to the table? Are they ******? Offering Golovkin something as low as 20%, probably makes them make more money, if it's real that GGG doesn't bring more to the table. Why are they losing money?

It doesn't make sense. Draw your conclusions.

Not because of GGG. He can't get those numbers without Canelo. We'll see if his popularity improved at all when the Jacobs numbers come out.

Oh no? how can you have the biggest fight in boxing and pretend it's because of ONE of the fighters? are you kidding me?

Then Canelo can fight another Liam smith and make 1 million PPVs? no, it doesn't happen, he makes 250k-300k against those. So it's not "because of Canelo". There's a reason why GGG-Canelo was so big and GGG had a lot to do with it.

2+2=4... lately you've shown me you have more hate than rationality inside your head.

That 20% will be way less than $15 mil. A 1 mil PPV at $70 only generates around $35 mil for the event promoters.

I love how the hate squad is making it sound like GBP is overpaying with the 15M offer. Oscar the generous is doing Golovkin a big favor with that offer, and Golovkin is just an ungrateful man who refuses. Shame on that Kazakh!

Here's the simple fact: If the 15M flat fee was not great for GBP's business, they would not have offered it. It's a lowball, end of story.
                    Maybe it IS a lowball.

But the most important thing about the 15 million is it is at least 3 times what Lil g can make with ANYONE ELSE.

He is B-side. He can take it or leave it.

But, if he leaves it and then has a misstep, you can bet the next offer will be much, much lower.

ggg and jacobs are splitting 5 mill between both of them...and before people start talking ish if he can fight jr at 165 he can fight ggg at 160...the fight is there for ggg at 160 he refuses to sign the contract
And JCC isn't going to even reach $15 million with only 20% of PPV. This will be an entertaining fight but I'd be stunned if it breaks 1 million buys.

In other words...GGG will make MORE money than JCC even though JCC suggests GGG is the one getting robbed
