moving up in weight and getting your face obliterated apparently makes you a star worthy of big money fights.. in Brook's world he must look down on Spence like a nobody because he enjoyed the privilege of getting pummeled by GGG.
he wants the Khan fight but without that strap Khan will abuse him at the negotiations table, that belt is all the leverage he has. .even Khan is telling him to get the Spence obligation out of the way so he won't be stripped.
this guy has been justifying facing subpar opponents at 147 for years with the excuse "Khan won't fight me".
give Spence his damn strap already so he can move on with his career.

Since your dealing with Haymon anyway, just ask for a title shot with Erislandy Lara or Jermall Charlo! Khan is playing Brook for the fool. He wants him to starve down, fight Spence Jr., LOSE, and then he'll say he won't fight him because he lost to Spence Jr. BROOK: LISTEN TO YOUR TEAM!

The thing is 154 is full of sharks so he won't be getting it any easier if he moves there.
It's pretty obvious Brook would be a lot more keen on getting the mandatory out of the way if it was another Jo Jo Dan to tune up for Khan or whoever but Spence being so risky puts the Khan fight in jeopardy. Honestly I think Khan would still rather Brook lose to Spence but he seems a bit more willing than before the Golovkin fight at least.Last edited by Caught Square; 01-16-2017, 08:00 AM.

I'm sure his team are advising him well they didn't have a problem when he was facing Senchenko, Dan, Gavin and Bizier. Now Spence is mandated he's to move up unless he's facing Khan whom he ain't gonna struggle to make weight for !

Brook moved up to fight the most avoided fighter in boxing, but he's scared of Spence? Get over yourselves
Spence is a nobody at this point. Brook is only doing what most top fighters do. He'll stay in a difficult division (in terms of making weight here) for a money fight, or move up for bigger challenges. I agree he should vacate the belt sooner than later, but this assumption that Spence destroys Brook so Brook is ducking is literally one of the worst assumptions I've come across on here
