I think draw was a reasonable result.
But Jack was clearly stronger and I'm not surprised he's moving up.

Based off DeGale tiring badly halfway through every fight and having little power, but mostly because he's not that good.

People will see it as a surprise initially, but Eubank Jr will best him comfortably.

Degale threw long flashy punches. Jack's defense was tight and landed a lot of short punches and all those body blows.

I had the fight for Jack, a draw is not the worst thing but I didn't see it that way.

I still stand that Degale is one of the most strong minded fighters out there

If one guy has a low output and the other one has a high output but is mostly hitting gloves...I don't think the second guy automatically wins the round.

You have to consider things like effective aggression and defense in the scoring.

Can't really question Badou Jack's effectiveness in a lot of the rounds. He punished Degale and even knocked out some teeth! I know that might not be a big deal to Brits, where everyone is either missing some teeth already or they have green ones. But I thought it was enough for the Swede to edge a close one.

See, this is the thing... there WERE rounds where Jack DID do a lot, and if I HAD to say one won it, I'd lean towards Jack. (I was busy wanking... I either had it 114-112 Jack, or 113-113). However, there were rounds where he did jack **** as well.

I honestly think, reading this board, that a lot of Fat Yank posters scored the KD of Arthur Mercante Jr. on their scorecards.

I'm going by what I see, stylistically and talent.

I think DeGale could have easily lost 3 of his last 4 fights, and none of those opponents were particularly great.

People have every right to take the 'wait and see' approach, but I'm already certain Eubank beats him.
