A glove punch is a BLOCK you can't score points on that..

I wouldn't count it personally, sometimes when your arms are loose and you are catching punches in a "give but don't break" way you can get your own glove pushed into your face if they snap a hard crisp punch, but I can't score a punch for a guy when his leather never even touched the other mans skin. To me that's like counting to knockdowns if the guy bounces his face off of the canvas or something.Comment

i agree. in fact, you can score for the defense. hardly anyone does.

Agreed. Sorta like the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight in which judges was giving Floyd points for soft touch jabs that Pacquiao was blocking constantly! Heck there was a round in which they scored him 10-2 and Floyd only landed 2 clean semi punches WTF
Boxing needs new judges,young and fresh folks with a passion for scoring CLEAN and punches that does more effective damage!
Pitty.pat slaps and arm punches and flashy combos or touch jabs needs to affectively be dealt with!Comment
