Pedraza was outclassed. No strategy would have worked for him. He does nothing better than Davis. He was dominated in every phase of the game.

Don't get me confused, I'm no fan of pedraza and barely a boxing fan now because the sport is garbage today compared to the past. Just calling it how I see it, pedraza just stood there with his guard letting Davis tee off when pedraza is a slick boxer with constant movement. Looked fixed to me but who gives a **** either way. Hope Davis goes 60 and 0 for the rest of his career, it won't make a difference to me. I'm a long time boxing fan since the 80's, I'll always love the sport but **** the promoters, networks, etc who have made boxing an irrelevant sport.

That ain't a bad thing for pedraza, hopefully he got a good bonus from Floyd for throwing this fight. No hate towards Davis but that's what it looks like happened to me, or pedraza just went insane and fought the dumbest fight of his now dead career. One or the other lol.

That would be one hell of an exciting fight though! Lots of hand speed but in fairness Gary Russell jr also has wicked fast hands and got taken to school. Davis looks way more aggressive than Russell so him and Loma would he an exciting tussle.

Let Davis gain more experience, in about 2-3 years and we got a hell of a fight.

My sentiments exactly. He had the high guard up all night. To the point was screaming for Davis to go to the body after 2nd round bc of Pedrazas high guard.

I was unsure of the kid, but he showed me a lot tonight. Of course others will down play it though

They dont have Mayweather as promoter. You know Mayweather boxers will have easy access to title shots compare to unknown promoters. Rember how Broner had easy access to title shots when he didnt deserve them, becauase of the team he has. So yes not Everyone has the same opportunity.

I think Pedraza threw out the game plan after the first round. Davis was really sharp and probably had more power than expected. Even when Pedraza had success, Davis was still throwing hard shots. I was impressed by Davis but there are some slight holes to fill.
